He had a watch case for storing his collection. But there were many times when he simply wanted to take off his watch without the hassle of putting it back in its case. He wanted a simple, dedicated soft surface where he could quickly and easily set his watch down — instead of on a countertop, nightstand, desk, or other hard surface that could scratch or damage it.
He searched for a product designed for this purpose, but all he could find were large, jewelry-store-style mats. There was nothing on the market made for the individual watch enthusiast to use every day at home, or to take along while traveling.
This simple frustration sparked the idea for TimeCush.
